The Energetic Axis of the World?

To Gaia, or not to Gaia, that is the question.

The Earth is not an inanimate object. It is in constant motion, twisting and writhing, swallowing entire continents into its molten belly while constantly creating itself anew. This vibrant activity is hidden from us only by our limited experience of time. Some believe that the Earth has consciousness and refer to it as Gaia. Others believe those people to be misguided and maybe a little crazy. I take no stand in that debate, but I put it to you: What if the greatest intellect in the Universe had a lifespan so long that it took thousands, if not millions of years, to complete a single thought? To it, our entire existence would be too brief to even notice and to us it may appear as just an inanimate stone. Whatever the reality is, I can say with personal certainty that as far as Qi energy is concerned, the Earth “behaves” as a living thing, with its own particular patterns of energy.

The Energetic Axis of the World.
The planet has many highly energetic points but I have just returned from what, in my experience, is the most energetic place on Earth–on, in and under, the big island of Hawaii.

Big Island
The current island is the largest mountain on Earth, dwarfing Mount Everest, and is the largest active volcano we know of in the solar system. It is only the most recent in a chain that goes back as far as we can track the geology of the Pacific Basin. There is a “hot spot” in the Earth’s crust that has remained stable at that point for tens if not hundreds of millions of years.
In the picture below you can see the line of islands and underwater mountains trailing off across the Pacific Basin until they are swallowed back into the Earth in a trench off the coast of Japan. I’ve marked with an X a place of particular interest where at some point in the past the whole Pacific plate, if not the entire crust of the planet, pivoted around the “Hot Spot.”

Even more interestingly, if you were to penetrate through to the opposite side of the globe you would find yourself in the southern part of Africa. This location has also stayed relatively geologically stable as the continents have drifted and moved all the way back to the time of Pangaea. (See below)

Pangia
It’s as if the island of Hawaii sits on top of the energetic axis of the Earth. To put it the terms of the believers in a living planet, this magic place is either the Root or Crown Chakra of Gaia herself.
Look for more posts soon about this magical place.
